Welcome back to our daily rundown of Pop News web links. We scoured
the internet just to find pop culture related info that you
might have missed while you were busy living life. From the geeky to
the cheeky, from insane to mundane, foolish to cool-ish, we're serving
it up fresh, just for you...

Take a good look at this logo and make some rash judgements and formulate your own opinions before I heap mine upon you...
What does that say? Is it clear? What is the company or brand it represents? What does it say/imply about the brand?
There are so many things wrong with this (and the accompanying announcement) that I can't contain myself...
While you were out shopping for things for all your stuff, we found more stuff. We're a little short this week so we can ration out the internet, because, y'know, one day we're gonna run out of stuff to tell you about... and you're gonna cry. But you can always jump in one of our daily Caption Contests - that seems to be making people smile.
Andre says: Don't worry. Be happy:
This dude's nasty with a blade. We found this on Reddit.com too, and we were instantly mesmerized by this man's freehand skills:
BadAssDigest wants to knowwhy you hate movies. Probably the same reasons as everyone else.
Billy Joel is not for everyone. Will Stegemann examines the BJ songbook, and his own life-long hesitence towards the music of Long Island's Musical Maestro... A Year Of Billy Joel

From the cool kids lunchtable:
The "Shit [insert stereo type-able group/person] Say" videos are everywhere. We think it started with Shit White Girls Say but it quickly spread to Black Girls, Asians, Asian moms, Drake. Everybody is making one, so that means the trend is almost dead. Hell, even SLJ made one:
Oh my beloved home, America. You are fast becoming a wastland of vapid, naccicistic, ego driven, over-indulged celebutardism. One day somebody is gonna snap. Like real bad. To show us what that might look like, Bobcat Goldthwait has directed a film that challenges this behavioral/cultural shift.... with a 9mm slug. It's Natural Born Killers without the wanton bloodlust, but some laughs and maybe a message (of sorts). Arriving on VOD first, then a limited release, here's the Red Band Trailer for the aptly named "God Bless America":
While you were out trying to forget a years worth of mistakes by drowning in alcohol (ironic?) we put all this together for you. We kept it short this week. We can do that, ok?
If you're actually reading this on Christmas day you are either on our biggest fan or not worshiping at the alter tree of the almighty dollar for a spectacular reason all your own. Either way, you're here and this stuff is for you... like it or not...
HEY KIDS! Our half-assed weekly review of stuff that only marginally matters, IS HERE! Because while you were at the mall, getting creeped out by the REVERSE SANTA, some stuff happened:
Shea Hembrey had a grand idea. After growing unimpressed by the current art scene, he decided he would gather the works of a hundred artists from all around the world for an international show. He would hand pick them himself by way of a small set of criteria.
He then realized that this project would be a lot of work.
So he just made them all up.
And as a testament to his creativity, he not only made their artworks, but he also fabricated their identities, motivations, beliefs and ideals. In this very funny TED talk he explains the two year project and highlights some of these "people" and their "work". Most of which sounds totally believable and typical of the modern art scene.
It's like being inside a graphic designer brain... while he's on a meth binge. I love it. Mr. K's new single "All of The Lights" is quite tasty in it's own right, but I'm a sucker for flying text. So what if, as Devin at Baddass.com points out, it's most likely a swipe of a well known opening credit sequence? It's got crazy, flashing lyrics. That and Kid Cudi turns his back on you and Rihanna reintroduces you to her Hey-Na-Na's. Fun starts after the intro with the kid.
