DC TV Report for week ending 2/13/2021

[Note to readers: Despite the decision to end The DC TV REPORT podcast, it seems that's not going to stop Ed O'Hare from creating his episode notes every week. He insists that this website post those notes weekly or things may, as he puts it, "have to get serious".]

Welcome to the DC TV Report for the week ending Saturday February 13th, 2020. I'm here to bring you recaps, news and commentary for all live-action television shows based on DC Comics. There was 1 new episode this week and it was a premiere.

Black Lightning - Season 4 Premiere "The Book of Reconstruction: Chapter One - Collateral Damage" 1) One year after the death of Inspector Henderson, Jefferson's grief made him snap and unleash his powers on 2 aggressive cops. 2) Anissa and Jennifer began busting up drug shipments, frustrating Lala. 3) Tobias Whale resurfaced throwing around millions in commitments to help rebuild Freeland. 4) Lynn used her spare time to test Gravedigger's blood on herself and stopping guys in vans from snatching women. Last Minute Reveal: While flying high above the city, Jennifer's powers blew out and she began free-falling!

Ed's Winner for the Week:
Peter Gambi (James Remar) - For some reason, Gambi is the only main character in the show who isn't visibly suffering from bone-crushing grief. He did his best to cover Jefferson's tracks from the new police chief and he identified the shooter who knocked out Jen, so Jefferson could commit more brutal violence.
