DC TV Report for week ending 1/30/2021

[Note to readers: Despite the decision to end The DC TV REPORT podcast, it seems that's not going to stop Lil' Eddie O'Hare from creating his episode notes every week. He insists that this website post those notes weekly or things may, as he puts it, "have to get serious".]

This is the DC TV Report for the week ending Saturday January 23rd, 2020. I'm here to bring you recaps, news and commentary for all live-action television shows based on DC Comics. There was 1 new episodes this week.

Batwoman S02E02
"Prior Criminal History" 1) After being falsely accused of committing a robbery she helped prevent, Ryan approached Mary and Luke about putting on the cowl again. 2) Sophie and Jacob grilled Luke, Mary and Julia about whether or not they knew Kate was Batwoman. 3) Alice used Mouse's poisoned corpse and a cloud of Bats to lay a trap at a public rally for Batwoman. Last Minute Reveal: Tatiana knocked out Sophie and Alice, intending to bring them to Safiyah!

Ed's Winner for the Week:
Alice (Rachel Skarsten) - This episode was Alice's moment to shine. Kate's death/disappearance has backed her into a corner and Skarsten did a marvelous job portraying her desperation without losing that fiendish smile. This was the character I was most worried about after the casting change and this episode established a unique and engaging arc for her.
