Ed’s Winner for the Week:  Hanging Finales - Pennyworth ended its second season this week with a finale that was as bonkers as you would expect. We also finally got Black Lightning's backdoor spinoff pilot for Painkiller, which swung for the fences and felt more like an action show that would have been paired with Knight Rider on NBC in the mid 1980s than a CW superhero show. Neither of these series have been picked up yet and I hope they don't end up on Hollywood's massive pile of unanswered cliffhangers.
